The graft counter, or Graft Calculator, is a valuable tool during hair transplantation. It is a specialized software program developed to help both the medical team and the patients. With the Graft Calculator, we count the hair follicles one by one in real time which we extract from the donor area and record important information about their characteristics.

How the graft counter works

It is one application certified by the World FUE Institute (World FUE Institute) and an integral tool throughout the extraction of hair follicles from the donor area. As we extract the grafts from the different zones of the scalp (temporal, parietal and occipital), we check the quality, as well as the number of hairs that each hair follicle carriesWith the help of the application, we can record this information on the spot on an iPad and thus know at any time, for example, how many healthy two-headed hair follicles we have extracted from the temporal area, how long it took us to extract them, and also the extraction speed of each member of the medical team.

This information allows us to control and adjust the pace of the medical team, to know exactly the number of healthy hair follicles extracted and to we organize their distribution to the recipient areas more effectively, in order to achieve their maximum coverage value.
